Large Tubbi

The Cafelat Large Tubbi replaces the previous Cafelat Knockbox and features the same shape as the much-loved original small tubbi. The larger size is a scaled up version of the Small Tubbi so don't worry the lovely proportions are still there. This is the knockbox to have if you think the Small Tubbi is a bit too small. All it is, is a ABS plastic tub with a silicone rubber bottom gasket and a NBR rubber bar! No nuts or bolts or anything.

The size is almost the same as the old Cafelat Knockbox and holds around 40 double pucks before it needs emptying. To empty just lift the rubber bar out and discard the coffee as you wish. 

This Large Tubbi features a press fit silicone gasket on the bottom which means you can strip it down and clean it. It also prevents the tub moving about the place and also helps to reduce the noise. The bar is now a solid piece of stainless steel rod with a durable rubber overmold that is soft enough to be easy on the wrists but strong enough to last a long time. 

Only the bar will absorb the force while 'knocking' the portafilter so it is tear and wear item and the spare parts are not under warranty. Do not hold the bar only if you want to lift it up or it may drop on the surface. Carry the Large Tubbi if you would like to move the item around. 

Should you ever lose the bottom ring or need a new bar, replacements are available.
