As an authorised online store of Cafelat, Cafelat UK Limited wants to make sure you as the customer is satisfied with our goods. Our philosophy, "By Baristas for Baristas", means we are committed to make awesome tools for you and as such to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
All products are inspected by us, then packed before shipping. We do not have a big warehouse of generic products on a shelf that we never see or inspect. The product you will receive will have been checked by both the Cafelat and Cafelat UK Limited.
If you have changed your mind and would like to return the product. Please check out below process.
14 calendar days from the day of delivery
We have a 14-calendar-days return policy, which means you have 14-calendar-days after receiving your product to request a return.
Following The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, we will accept the products back even if you opened the packaging and examine the products. But to be eligible for a return, you MUST NOT use them, install them, or modify them in any way. Whilst the products are in your possession, you must take reasonable care of them.
We do not offer free returns. You are responsible for the shipping cost, and its liability is your responsibility, so please use a tracked and insured carrier. Make sure to retain the proof of return from the courier. Cafelat UK Limited takes no responsibility for any loss and/or damage to returned products in transit and the unsatisfactory/unsecured packing by the customer. You will be notified via email if the returned product is received with transit damage. Please contact your courier for an insurance claim and collect your product back from us.
If the products are returned to us as new or in a re-saleable condition with original packaging boxes, along with any accessories and free gifts, a refund will be issued excluding shipping charge.
Any returns that are received by us in a condition Cafelat UK Limited deems unsuitable for resale will not be accepted for refund.
To start a return, please contact us (Refunds & Exchanges). You will need to provide proof of purchase, i.e. purchase confirmation email, delivery note, Paypal transaction, or bank statement. We only accept returns from the person who bought the products. Products sent back to us without first notifying us will not be accepted.
Based on the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you must not delay your return of the goods and should send them back within 14 days of when you informed Cafelat UK of your decision to cancel.
After 14 calendar days from the day of delivery
After 14 calendar days from the day of delivery, the returned used products will only be refunded if they have an obvious manufacturing defect. We are happy to discuss options via Contact Us Form (Refunds & Exchanges) but for any returns and subsequent replacement shipments, the postage will be at your cost. We will charge £20 as a restocking fee. This will be deducted from the refund, along with the original postage cost. We do not offer free returns.
We do not exchange or refund items that were ordered incorrectly (e.g. incorrect size on silicone gasket) and we do not entertain any buyer’s remorse (e.g. don’t like the colour).
Once we have received the products back from you, we will inspect them in 7 calendar days and email you if the refund was approved.
All refunds will only be issued via Paypal that was used to purchase the goods and will exclude any postage or return carriage charges, if applicable. We may make a deduction from the refund for any loss in value of the goods if the loss is a result of unnecessary handling by you.
If you return the items after 14 calendar days from the day of delivery, we will also charge £20 as a restocking fee. This will be deducted from the refund, along with the original postage cost or return carriage charges, if applicable.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
