Returns & Refunds

As an authorised online store of Cafelat, Cafelat UK Limited ensures that you, the customer, are satisfied with your purchase. The entire purpose of Cafelat is to create exceptional barista tools designed by baristas for baristas, and we are confident that you will be very pleased with your purchase.

All products are inspected and packed by us before shipping. We do not have a large warehouse of generic products sitting on shelves that we never see or inspect. The product you receive will have been checked by Cafelat and Cafelat UK Limited once again.

If you have changed your mind and would like to return the product, please follow the process outlined below.

14 calendar days from the day of delivery

We have a 14-calendar-day return policy, which means you have 14 calendar days after receiving your product to request a return.

Following The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, we will accept the products back even if you have opened the packaging and examined the products. However, to be eligible for a return, you MUST NOT use, install, or modify the products in any way. While the products are in your possession, it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of them.

Please note that we do not offer free returns. You are responsible for the shipping cost, and the liability for the return shipment rests with you. Therefore, please use a tracked and insured carrier. Make sure to retain the proof of return from the courier. Cafelat UK Limited holds no responsibility for any loss and/or damage to returned products during transit or due to unsatisfactory/unsecured packing by the customer. If the returned product is received with transit damage, you will be notified via email. Please contact your courier for an insurance claim and collect your product back from us.

If the products are returned to us in new or re-saleable condition, with the original packaging boxes, along with any accessories and free gifts, a refund will be issued, excluding the shipping charge.

Returns that are received by us in a condition deemed unsuitable for resale by Cafelat UK Limited will not be accepted for a refund.

To initiate a return, please contact us (Refunds & Exchanges). You will need to provide proof of purchase, such as a purchase confirmation email, delivery note, PayPal transaction, or bank statement. We only accept returns from the person who bought the products. Products sent back to us without prior notification will not be accepted.

Based on the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you must not delay the return of the goods and should send them back within 14 days of informing Cafelat UK of your decision to cancel.

After 14 calendar days from the day of delivery

After 14 calendar days from the day of delivery, returned used products will only be refunded if they have an obvious manufacturing defect. We are happy to discuss options via the Contact Us Form (Refunds & Exchanges), but for any returns and subsequent replacement shipments, the postage will be at your cost. We will charge £20 as a restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund along with the original postage cost. Please note that we do not offer free returns.

Items that were ordered incorrectly (e.g., incorrect size on silicone gasket) will not be exchanged or refunded, and we do not accept returns due to buyer's remorse (e.g., not liking the colour).


Once we have received the products back from you, we will inspect them within 7 calendar days and notify you via email if the refund is approved.

All refunds will be issued only via PayPal, which was used to purchase the goods, and will exclude any postage or return carriage charges, if applicable. We may make a deduction from the refund for any loss in value of the goods if the loss is a result of unnecessary handling by you.

If you return the items after 14 calendar days from the day of delivery, we will also charge £20 as a restocking fee. This will be deducted from the refund, along with the original postage cost or return carriage charges, if applicable.

Please remember that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.
