MOLYKOTE® 111 Compound is the industry standard lubricant for valves and seals with decades of proven performance. MOLYKOTE® 111 is formulated from a silicone oil and uses an inorganic thickener for excellent adhesion and stay-in-place performance. MOLYKOTE® 111 meets several strict global regulation requirements for safe water contact applications, including WRAS, NSF 51 and NSF 61.
This is the grease we recommend for use with our silicone group gaskets and lever piston gaskets. Silicone seals require silicone grease, other types of lubricant may damage the silicone.
When lubricating our seals, you just need enough to give the seals a "sheen". There is no need to put huge amount all over them.
